Here it is! Vogue Living just published the award winning decoration projects, the full shortlist from the Australian Interior Design Awards' Residential Decoration category.
Im loving the industrial style right now. Lots of cold iron, metallics, raw materials and woods. Industrial can be quite cool and sleak, definitely a perfect choice for all the minimalists out there. Organic Interiors will be moving towards commercial spaces soon and we would love to perfect the cool industrial feel.
Flora and Fauna is currently on trend. Feel free to add more flowers and exotic elements to your décor. Cacadu and Peacocks are very welcomed as an extravagant interior items. It is not so much about the colours though, the colour pallet is complementing autumn season with darker, more settled tones.
If you share my love for good quality gorgeous wallpapers then you will definitely appreciate this post. I am head over heels for these beautiful oriental patterns and stunning colours. Chinoiserie by de Gourney is absolutely amazing.
Creativity works in mysterious and often paradoxical ways. Creative thinking is a stable, defining characteristic in some personalities, but it may also change based on situation and context. Inspiration and ideas often arise seemingly out of nowhere and then fail to show up when we most need them, and creative thinking requires complex cognition yet is completely distinct from the thinking process.
I couldn't keep these beautiful inspirations all to myself :)
Bohemian at it's finest form... and of course some shabby chic to add to it.
I am currently considering changing my bedroom a little bit and adding lots of bohemian influence to my existing furniture.
Woudnt you want to wake up in a bed like this?
